Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with factors affecting hospital technical efficiency in the Czech Republic between the years 2008 and 2013, namely the existence of differences in average efficiency rate in the distribution according to the type, number of beds and location [Czech regions) of hospitals. Technical efficiency is analysed by means of data envelopment analysis (DEA) method.
