Summary/Abstract: In the realm of intangible phenomena in traditional culture, thoughts about autochthony can be directed towards dance, even though the study of this subject in historic periods isa complicated problem in ethnochoreology. There are very few historic documents about dance, and the ones that doexist provide only partial information, which does not enable many concrete conclusions about this comprehensive cultural phenomenon.
