Summary/Abstract: Petr Voda and Michal Pink devote the sixth chapter to a look at the electoral geography of the regional elections, not only limiting their investigations to a general description of party strongholds, but also the socio-geographic conditions that have an effect on where parties are strong and why. An initial look at electoral support indicates that support for all parties is relatively stable with respect to the fact that party resultsin elections for the Chamber of Deputies coincide with results for party results in the regional elections. However, this is only in terms of the relative distribution of support, because the amount of support varies to a considerable extent. With the exception of KSČM and somewhat with the Social Democrats, parliamentary parties lost support compared to the previous election (to the Chamber of Deputies).
