Summary/Abstract: The conflict is present in all societies for various reasons, and always perceived as an undesirable situation, loaded with negative connotations. In the social imaginary immigrants like “the other ”bearers of a“ different ”ethnocultural repertoire, and who must internalize the culture of the host country, "they bring the conflict." Saying"adaptation-assimilation" process, at certain times it is a problem, given that there is an imbalance of power and imposition, which clashes with the "need and desire", at least initially, to maintain the identity.
