Summary/Abstract: The ”Memorandum-Manifesto”, voted on 13th – 26th of April 1917, by the Romanian volunteers concentrated in Darniţa was the "Prima Alba Iulia", the first international manifestation of the Transylvania and Bucovina inhabitants, which proclaimed the necessity of uniting all the Romanian territories from Austria-Hungary to the Kingdom of Romania. This memorandum represented, in fact, for that historical moment, a political act of unquestionable value by declaring the union of the territories inhabited by the Romanians in the double monarchy to Romania, by the proclaimed principles and the maturity of the political program formulated, through the wide horizon of understanding the national problem to all subjugated peoples.
