Summary/Abstract: The term trademark applies to a recognizable sign, design, or expression that has come to represent certain products or services. During the centuries the name “Bulgaria” has come to represent certain products in different regions of the world. This article discusses the impact that this trademark has had throughout the world and explores the possibilities that can be used to promote the destination Bulgaria as a Tourist attraction. The aim of the article is to show a new approach to making Bulgaria a more attractive destination for future tourists based on existing predispositions.
