Summary/Abstract: The article constitutes a reflection on the artistic endeavors of professor Jagoda Adamus. Her painterly search for beauty place the artist in the company of distinguished contemporary artists. Her paintings reveal a remarkable person—sensitive and subtle on the one hand, and decisive and brave on the other. As the author remarks, the painter conveys the meaning of the work of art in a calm, balanced way, venturing into the familiar territories of her artistic journeys.
