Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is to see if there is a relation between self-efficacy, emotional intelligence, stress and academic performances. The sample comprises 98 students, both from urban and rural area, with average age between 19 and 32 years old. The instruments used in this study are three questionnaires for evaluation the self-efficacy, emotional intelligence and stress. The results show that there is a strong correlation between self-efficacy and emotional intelligence and higher self-efficacy was linked to lower stress level. There is no significant correlation between self-efficacy and academic performances.
