Summary/Abstract: Being able to travel freely across countries has a number of advantages, one of which is the possibility of working abroad. It is often the case that one of the conditions applicants have to fulfil is their good command of a foreign language, preferably connected with the job. As a result, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) courses have gained in popularity over the years. One of the areas where this specialist knowledge is clearly visible is medicine. Teaching Medical English can be a nerve-racking experience, especially for those who are beginners in this field. The aim of this article is to review various language resources that are available on the market and show how they can be helpful when preparing teaching materials or planning a series of lessons.
