Summary/Abstract: There is no reliable evidence about the Sufi orientation of Hasan Zijai,Diwan poet from Mostar from the 16th century, in his real life, nor about his possible attachment to a Sufi order. We find the motifs of tasawwuf,namely the verses describing the mystic love mostly in lyric genres, that is,in ghazels which constitute more than two third of Zijai’s Diwan.
