Summary/Abstract: On the Cold War Front – Czechoslovakia 1948-1956 is dedicated to thousands of Czechoslovak citizens who actively fought against the totalitarian regime that was established in their country after the Communist Party seized power on February 25, 1948. It focuses in particular on those who battled tyranny in Czechoslovakia on both sides of the country’s borders in the years 1948-1956.
