Summary/Abstract: The text comments on the Christian temples and the preserved church art in the North-West end of Bulgaria, in particular, the Upper Section of Ogosta River, which belong to the less studied parts of the Bulgarian cultural-historical heritage. Votive and tomb monuments, especially votive crosses in Mitrovtsi and its surroundings, are presented and discussed in details.
