Summary/Abstract: This report analyzes the role of teachers’ digital competence as a key factor in the development of human capital in the context of digital transformation. Theoretical and analytical aspects cover modern frameworks such as DigComp and DigCompEdu, as well as trends in labor market development. Special emphasis is placed on the state of digital competences among Bulgarian teachers, highlighting it as a prerequisite for an effective educational system and the sustainable development of human resources.
