Summary/Abstract: Beyond all these aspects, this year’s edition aimed to bring Saint Dumitru Stăniloae closer to priests, theology students, people of letters, and those engaged in culture or philosophy. We wanted to bring him closer to the heart and mind of each of us. You know, when we proposed this theme, we thought that we should always feel his presence close to us. I do not know whether or not we succeeded in achieving this. In any case, listening to everything that took place, I reflected on several conclusions that could begin with the very opening of the symposium, with that roundtable discussion, that debate which began, as you may remember, with the question of whether theology is still needed today.
