Summary/Abstract: The present text aims to highlight the main lines of Father Stăniloae’s criticism of Heidegger’s theses on Dasein (in Being and Time, paragraphs §26-40) and on the relationship it maintains with others and with the world. We will examine the Heideggerian assumptions on the worldliness of the Dasein to see if the criticism of Father Stăniloae is justified and, if so, how he intends to overturn Heidegger’s theses. The Romanian theologian’s position is similar to that of another philosopher and historian of religion who has also observed and criticized the same characteristics in Heidegger’s existential analysis.
