Summary/Abstract: The objective of the research: the analysis of the image of a villager in the narration of the deportees. Method of data analysis used is content analysis. The narrative material was obtained and based on the in-depth semi-structured interviews conducted by Institute of Social History "ProMemoria" within the State Program "Recovery and Historical Valorification of the Memory of Victims of the Totalitarian-Communist Regime of the Moldovian SSR during 1940 – 1941, 1944 – 1953".
