Summary/Abstract: This essay examines the ways in which the historiography of the Srebrenica genocide has changed over the years in the context of the history of genocide studies. It focuses, among other questions, on the problems of using the genocide concept, on the increasing importance of understanding political causation of genocide, and, finally, on the various forms of denial.
