Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to analyze the role and capabilities of facility management in the Military Medical Academy – Sofia, and its impact on the quality of education of students studying in the specialties “Military Doctor” and “Military Nurse”. This education is being implemented for the first time in Bulgaria jointly by the Military Medical Academy – Sofia, the Higher Naval School “Nikola Y. Vaptsarov” and the Medical University “Prof. Dr. Paraskev Stoyanov” – Varna. The paper first presents the main characteristics and advantages of the education of military doctors and nurses in Bulgaria, secondly identifies the necessary skills of military medics, and thirdly outlines the role of facility management in ensuring the educational process of military medics following the example of the Military Medical Academy – Sofia.
