Summary/Abstract: The creation of specialized markets for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) on the traditional stock exchanges in Europe is related to providing small and medium-sized businesses with the opportunity to raise capital with lower regulatory requirements and reduced administrative burden, compared to companies traded on the regulated market of the stock exchanges. This report presents the main trends and challenges facing the specialized SME markets on some European stock exchanges in the period 2021-2024. For this purpose, key indicators have been analyzed, through which the size of specialized markets has been compared to that of regulated market of the stock exchange in the respective country.
