Summary/Abstract: The report analyzes the trends in the stock markets of the 27 countries over a period of 21 years, from 2005 to 2025, based on their main stock market indices. Two types of return of the main stock market indexes were being analyzed in the report - holding period return (HPR) and capitalized annual growth return (CAGR). The values of the returns are calculated for each of the 5 sub-periods, as well as for the entire periods. The findings of the study highlight a trend of positive returns in 4 of the 5 considered sub-periods and for the entire period 2005- 2025.
