Summary/Abstract: Two leading mechanisms for cooperation have been established – EUROSAI and the European Court of Auditors. Their activities are planned and carried out in accordance with the interests of national SAIs and considering the interests of stakeholders. There is no convincing evidence to what extent this cooperation improves the activities and impact of SAIs.
