Summary/Abstract: Contemporary society, characterized by an unprecedented information explosion and the emergence of increasingly complex issues, demands a profound reconceptualization of the educational process. Transdisciplinarity provides a theoretical and methodological framework that enables the overcoming of disciplinary fragmentation by promoting integrated and contextualized learning. Non-formal education represents an ideal environment for applying transdisciplinary principles, as it values personal experience, flexibility, and cooperation. This paper explores the epistemological foundations of transdisciplinarity, its complementary relationship with non-formal education, and the methodological implications of developing transdisciplinary competencies.
