Summary/Abstract: The article explores the importance of emotional connection and peer relationships in building an inclusive school environment. Drawing on Lev Vygotsky’s theories, it emphasizes that learning and social development are deeply rooted in interaction and trust. The author shares practical strategies for integrating a child who recently arrived from abroad and for supporting atypical students in mainstream education. Key approaches ncluded building emotional bonds, normalizing diversity through inclusive materials, and promoting collaboration between students. Using English and the child’s native language reduced anxiety and fostered connection, while highlighting the strengths of atypical students (such as talent in music or art) encouraged peer acceptance. The article concludes that authentic relationships between teachers and students, as well as between peers, are essential foundations for learning and emotional well-being in an inclusive classroom.
