Summary/Abstract: Inclusive education requires addressing the challenge of ensuring equity and participation for all learners. This goal depends on cultivating an innovation culture rooted in diversity, accessibility, and collaboration. Educational innovation goes beyond adopting new methods or technologies; it involves strategically redesigning teaching practices, chool climate, and community relations. Defined by Huberman as deliberate and durable improvement and by the OECD’s Oslo Manual as a strategic process, innovationhas become central to school development. In inclusive schools, it acquires an ethical dimension, focused on removing barriers and reducing inequalities so every learner can achieve their potential. Design Thinking provides a human-centered framework for inclusive innovation, emphasizing empathy, collaboration, optimism, and experimentation. Through this approach, schools can generate flexible, relevant solutions to meet diverse student needs. Leadership is essential in aligning mission, vision, and values with these principles, building ecosystems that develop autonomous, creative, and resilient graduates ready to contribute to democratic societies.
