Summary/Abstract: The article presents scientific and practical arguments regarding the necessity and value of mentoring activities within educational institutions. These arguments are substantiated through references to relevant normative provisions. The study highlights the barriers commonly encountered in mentoring practices across various general education institutions and proposes pertinent solutions for their mitigation. The qualities of the mentor, the values promoted through mentoring, and the requirements for effective mentoring activities reinforce the idea that mentorship should be prioritized in modern schools.
