Summary/Abstract: The article argues for the necessity of developing pedagogical research competencies in the context of major transformations occurring within the educational system of the Republic of Moldova. Competitive pressures, European integration, and the increasing complexity of new social demands compel educational institutions to continuously adapt their practices, making the professional development of teaching staff a strategic priority. The paper highlights the importance of the interdependence between methodological and scientific dimensions in continuous professional training, as well as the essential role of research in strengthening the professional capacities of teachers and managers. Additionally, it underscores the need for an education management approach oriented toward quality and innovation, aligned with European standards.
