Summary/Abstract: Taking into account the demands imposed by social changes, the education system is forced to adapt to the new needs and proposals of the labor market. These demands require schools to prepare students for a complex, dynamic, and technologically advanced world. To succeed in this direction, it is necessary to develop teachers' constructivist design skills, which will give students the opportunity to be the main actors in their own learning process. This article reveals the specifics and importance of constructivist design as a necessity for education in postmodernity. This investigation also elucidates the attributes of the constructivist teacher, the phases and principles of constructivist knowledge.
