Summary/Abstract: This article examines the role of artificial intelligence in the transformation of the visual dispositif of the television election studio. The theoretical synthesis conceptualises the studio as a dispositif in the sense of Foucault and Agamben. The empirical study covers 22 media professionals — 11 journalists, 8 graphic designers, and 3 sociologists from leading agencies — surveyed in Bulgaria on the eve of parliamentary elections. The comparative analysis of CNN, BBC, and bTV reveals three distinct concepts of meaning production in the election studio. Results are unequivocal: 95% of respondents have encountered conflict between visual aesthetics and mathematical precision; 27% use AI tools — mainly in the technical layer; opinion on mandatory AI labelling is split exactly 50/50. The consensus is „AI as assistant, human as arbiter“
