Summary/Abstract: Summary/Abstract: This study examines the transformation of trust-building practices in public service media within platformized digital environments. Moving beyond a content-centered perspective, it conceptualizes trust as the result of dynamic relationships between media organizations and their audiences. Theoretically, the study draws on concepts related to platformization, algorithmic mediation, and digital communication, interpreting trust not only as a function of informational credibility but also as a result of interaction, consistency, and perceived authenticity. Empirically, the research incorporates findings from an online survey of over 100 respondents, focusing on media consumption, trust perceptions, and expectations toward public service media. The results indicate that digital platforms function as the main entry point to news content, while trust remains closely associated with established media institutions and relational forms of communication.
