Summary/Abstract: Digitalization is an essential process for modern economic development and influences all aspects of business and society. This article explores the impact of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems on optimizing business processes in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Republic of Moldova. The integration of ERP systems supports companies in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer interactions. The paper highlights the main challenges faced by SMEs in adopting digitalization, offering suggestions for improving internal processes through ERP technologies.
