Summary/Abstract: The report examines the economic value of new skills in the context of the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Bulgaria. The main objective is to analyze the link between digitalization, AI adoption, and skill demand in the labor market. Based on data from DESI, Eurostat, NSI, and the Ministry of Education, the paper argues that AI transforms rather than eliminates jobs, increasing demand for hybrid competencies – a mix of technical, analytical, and social skills.
