Summary/Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) fundamentally changes autonomous learning by supporting individual learning processes, providing personalized content, and creating adaptive learning environments. Through intelligent algorithms, AI can analyze learning progress, provide targeted feedback, and dynamically adapt learning materials to learners’ needs and abilities. AI implication creates a new form of self-directed learning that works independently of fixed curricula and traditional teaching structures. This article sheds light on AI’s role as a companion and promoter of independent language learning. In addition to the numerous advantages, challenges are also considered. Finally, the discussion outlines the meaningful integration of AI in education and language learning by staff in tourism.
