Summary/Abstract: Recently the European Commission has adopted a new package of proposals to simplify sustainability reporting rules and increase competitiveness. Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive should have been transformed into national laws by July 6, 2024, at the latest while as of the end of November 2024, only 15 countries had fully or partially transposed the CSRD and strong debates at all levels boosted the reform.
