Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is related to the opinions and experiences of teachers regarding the use of information-communication and multimedia technologies and the Internet in teaching in primary schools, as well as the possibilities of said technology to improve teaching, in this case at a distance. The results of the new research show that these needs are still current, with teachers estimating that they need each form of support to a lesser extent in 2023 and 2024. The research sample consisted of 1,410 teachers and subject teachers who were employed in primary schools in Vojvodina cities, municipalities and settlements in 2023. It can be concluded that teachers are open to various forms of system support for the implementation of teaching with the application of ICT, but they do not consider this support to be crucial for the achievement of their professional tasks. On the other hand, teachers highly evaluate the need for each of the forms of support for students in classes in which modern media are used, and in connection with which their opinion was questioned, which is a surprising fact, bearing in mind the expansion of the use of information technology during the last decade, especially during the pandemic caused by the covid 19 virus, and especially by children and young people. The research can be described as the need to define the necessary changes in order to improve the current situation in the teaching system. The research was carried out by the Pedagogical Institute of Vojvodina in cooperation with the Center for Research, Consulting and Education of the "Epoha" Publishing Company.
