Summary/Abstract: The remarkable work of this father of the Romanian Orthodox Church in the 20th century, the trials of life he experienced in order to follow Christ, the strength of character and the moral values that characterized his life, all made him a model confessor and prayerful person both for those of his time and for those of today. In this way, he showed that there is no theoretical faith, but only the faith that gives man the conviction that he can overcome himself, that if you know yourself from the inside you can know the whole world. We have set out to write in this study about the way in which the monk Nicolae de la Rohia revealed to us, with firmness and courage, a realistic Christianity, without a trace of stereotype, alive, dynamic, concrete and subtle, valid not only for the masses, but also for intellectuals, closely linked to everyday reality, unintellectualized, although pretentious, demanding and realistic.
