Summary/Abstract: This article focuses on a few verses from chapter 3 of Genesis, which depicts the fall of Man. I shall look at three pathologies of sin and then propose three methods of healing. The first pathology is man’s lack of trust in Godʹs love, his trust in his own mind. The second pathology is man’s hiding from God. And the last one that I have chosen: not taking responsibility for one’s own deeds, blaming others for one’s fall, and ultimately blaming God Himself. Our Lord performs healing in the heart of man, when the latter struggles to believe that He is good and loves him, when man, feeling loved, succeeds in revealing to the Lord all that lies in his heart. And above all, healing occurs when man no longer judges his neighbours, but comes to love them, receiving them as they can be.
