Summary/Abstract: Our intervention aims to (re)bring to attention some aspects of the relationship between individual utterance – in front of a larger or smaller community or to an unseen and generally unknown audience -- and the meaning of the articulated word. The “book for ears” (Gustiʹs definition for the Radio) supposed the oral transmission of formative content. The ”transmitter” was aware of the semantic latencies of words and the order of ideas, which together indicated the same direction, the same meaning for all receivers. Today, the disintegration of this relationship can ”establish” disorder in language, its impoverishment, the loss of meaning, and the wandering astray from the right Way.
