Summary/Abstract: The report presents some problems and challenges in regard to the implementation of the institute of hardship under Bulgarian law. The analysis is made in the context of the financial crises unfolding over the past two decades, including the health and economic crisis related to the spread of COVID-19, and the war in Ukraine in 2022. A proposal for amendment of Art. 307 of the Commerce Act is made.
