Summary/Abstract: As technological innovation evolves, companies are actively adapting to the changing business landscape, and chatbots are establishing themselves as a modern digital communication tool, changing traditional interactions between users and organizations. In the context of the legal industry, the regulation of chatbots presents a significant challenge. The aim of the study is to analyse the challenges associated with the use of chatbots and to assess the applicability of the current regulatory framework to the new form of digital communication. The tasks include the application of chatbots in the legal field, outlining the main issues related to their use (focusing on professional liability, privacy, and ethical issues), and highlighting the main challenges related to the regulation of artificial intelligence. The paper presents results justifying the need to adapt legislation in response to technological advances and discusses regulatory measures to minimise the risks associated with the unethical use of these technologies.
