Summary/Abstract: This study explores theoretical data on the role of educational means in achieving religious education at the pre-primary level. Specialized literature supports the need for religious education to begin at an early age, as it benefits the religious, moral, emotional and social development of children. The analysis of the reference works in the field highlights the fact that there is a wide range of didactic means and that these are resources that support the educational activities carried out with children. Teachers have different preferences regarding the choice of teaching aids to carry out activities, such as: digital media, biblical text, stories, lectures, modelling, songs, role plays, video supports, icons, etc. In recent years, a more frequent use of digital means is observed, which is determined by the fact that a teacher must also take into account the transformations of the society that obliges the kindergarten to prepare preschoolers, in accordance with the requirements of a modern society that brings technologies to the forefront and choose modern teaching means, besides traditional ones. The most used digital means by teachers in kindergarten are: WORLDWALL, learning apps, Google Classroom, EDU Apps Platform, MEET Live Meetings App, Google Forms etc. The conclusions underline the importance of carefully choosing the teaching aids so that they can capture children and help to successfully carry out religious education at the pre-school level.
