Summary/Abstract: Investigating the integration of innovative teaching methodologies in religious education, while preserving the fundamental elements of religious tradition and content, leads to a more relevant and effective religious education that stimulates student engagement and contributes to their religious, moral, spiritual, and social development. The research is qualitative in nature, aiming to highlight the impact of innovative methods on capturing students' interest in religious education. It was conducted on the basis of semi-structured interviews with five mentor religion teachers (with between 12 and 25 years of experience) and 30 students training to be future religion teachers. The aim of the research is to analyze how pedagogical tradition and modern technology can be integrated to make religious education more attractive and transformative for the digital generation. It will also look at how religious education will manage to maintain a balance between fidelity to the Gospel message and the adoption of modern teaching methods capable of arousing interest and encouraging the active involvement of students in education and training. The research confirms the hypothesis that methodological and didactic innovations increase the attractiveness and effectiveness of religious education, contributing to a better understanding of moral values, as well as to the active and motivated participation of students.
