Summary/Abstract: This article presents the findings of a quantitative study on student attendance in university courses, based on data collected through an online questionnaire. The sample includes 63 undergraduate students from economics and sociology programs. The study aims to identify key factors that influence attendance and to explore the conditions that may encourage more consistent participation. Descriptive statistical analysis and thematic coding of open-ended responses reveal that intrinsic motivation, interactive teaching methods, flexible scheduling, and classroom conditions significantly impact student engagement. In addition, external constraints such as employment and family responsibilities play an important role. The findings support the need for pedagogical and institutional adjustments to increase student presence and involvement in academic activities. The article concludes with practical recommendations for instructors and higher education institutions focused on improving course relevance, delivery methods, and learning environments in order to foster meaningful student participation.
