Summary/Abstract: The general aim of this paper is to theorize, based on the specialized literature, the main ways in which fiction literature can be used in the teaching-learning process of Psychology, both as a means of reception and accessibility of the specific language of this discipline, through the descriptive and expressive support it offers in the process of receiving, understanding, and deepening the concepts, paradigms, and laws of Psychology, and also as a way to develop the transversal/professional competences targeted by the study of Psychology. Following these aspects throughout the paper, we highlighted the informative-formative and motivational contribution of fiction literature in the educational act of teaching and learning the Psychology subject. Moreover, we proposed a series of methodological recommendations to facilitate the objective, scientific understanding of the vast field of Psychology. The paper is structured according to the following outline: introduction; study objectives; aspects regarding literature and the development of professional/transversal competences; conclusions and recommendations; bibliography.
