Summary/Abstract: Doctor–patient relationships are particularly important in the neurological context, having a significant impact not only on the effectiveness of medical services but also on the patient’s health status. At the foundation of these collaborative relationships lie principles and values that guide the behavior and communication of medical professionals. In this context, it is essential for young medical students to identify their own axiological system, which would help them not only improve their skills, abilities, and professional competencies, but also achieve personal and professional fulfillment, thereby obtaining the expected results. In line with these considerations, in the present study we have identified and analyzed the fundamental values and ethical principles that guide the neurological doctor–patient relationship, with emphasis on their applicability in the training of future physicians. Indeed, sound ethical and professional preparation of young doctors would facilitate their integration into the workforce and the successful achievement of their objectives.
