Summary/Abstract: Access to culture is examined as a central component of the public mission of the media. The Bulgarian National Radio and its „Hristo Botev” program are highlighted as an example of high-quality cultural content, sustainable partnerships, and strong regional engagement. Issues of accessibility, youth participation, and international cultural presence further enrich the understanding of their societal role. The analysis underscores that public media do not merely reflect cultural processes but actively shape them, serving as a driving force for democratization and social resilience.
