Summary/Abstract: Nowadays, the competitiveness of business organizations is not based on classic production factors, but on the knowledge and experience of employees. Companies see knowledge management as a key factor in achieving and maintaining sustainable competitive advantages. The aim of this paper is to present the results of an empirical study of the application of knowledge management in Bulgarian business organizations, as well as to outline some conclusions. The data was generating by conducting an online survey among 57 Bulgarian business organizations.
