Summary/Abstract: The report examines the development of the national road safety policy. The national road safety strategy in the Republic of Bulgaria and the action plans for its implementation are analyzed and assessed. The content of the strategy, as well as the number of implemented measures in the field of road safety, lacks consistency, comprehensiveness and integration of the policy implemented by the individual responsible institutions, which would stem from a unified management framework.
