Summary/Abstract: This report analyzes the role of intelligence and counterintelligence in countering hybrid threats to Bulgaria's national security. It examines the nature and characteristics of these threats, as well as the key functions of intelligence and counterintelligence services to identify, prevent and neutralize them. Special attention is paid to the impact of artificial intelligence on these processes, as well as to the specific challenges faced by the Bulgarian services in this area.
