Summary/Abstract: The study explores the relationship between astronomy and theology in discussions on the plurality of worlds in the Old Polish Period. The analyzed source material confirms that Old Polish reflections align with Western European discourse on the subject, which was scientifically grounded in Aristotelianism (rejecting the concept), as well as in heliocentric cosmology and Cartesian vortex theory (supporting it). The theological aspects of the debate were associated with the idea of divine omniscience and the principle of the fullness of creation. The study examines arguments supporting the probability of multiple worlds and those rejecting this possibility. The discussion also considers the confessional determinants of Polish philosophers, scholars, and writers, the forms of their statements on the plurality of worlds, and the social scope in which these ideas were disseminated.
