Summary/Abstract: Migration from Turkey to Europe has a long history. Starting in the early 1960s, Turkish nationals were invited into the European Economic Community (EEC) as ‘guest workers’ to address the lack of a labour force in construction, metallurgy, and agriculture (Manço & El Bey, 2017).
